A couple of weeks ago, whilst staying at my Mum’s, we had a bit of a party with some of our Norwich friends. It was to celebrate the new Nick Jr show, Zack and Quack!

Zack and Quack live in a papery crafty world where they can make anything out of the bits they find and the party was craft themed to go with the show!

We got the television on Nick Jr!

And set the party up!

We invited Charlie, Mason and Harry, my friend Sam’s three big boys who truth be told are probably a bit older than the general Zack and Quack fans but they were very eager to come and enjoy the fun anyway. We also invited Georgina, my friend Olivia’s little girl, who is the same age as Florence!

Florence never needs convincing to do a bit of art and craft and with our friends we got stuck into a group exercise of building something together with odds and ends, cardboard boxes and anything else we could find!

The children had loads of sticky fun making their robot family!

Then it was time for the show premiere and with a near hiccup after Jimmy unplugged the Sky box we got it back on Nick Jr and were away!

A near miss with the TV was soon resolved and everyone settled down to enjoy the show!

We had tiny Jimmy and the big boys with the girls in between but all of them enjoyed the show very much and as we tucked into party food we spent the next half an hour giggling with Zack and Quack!

Then it was time for more crafty bits and with icing tubes and biscuits to decorate the children were full on concentration again!

Then, with quite a few new fans of Zack and Quack it was time for the party to close and for goodie bags to be dished out!

What an ace and crafty time we had – Look what we made!

I held the Twitter party to promote the launch of the new Zack and Quack show on Nick Jr
