A Shaun the Sheep Movie; Farmageddon (Out on DVD NOW)!

As you will know if you follow us regularly, we are all massive fans of the sheep they call Shaun! How could we not be with Raffie in the house?! I think Raffie might honestly be the biggest Shaun the Sheep fan in the world and because of him we have seen every single episode and the original film countless times over. It’s a good job there’s lots, even better that they’re good and that it’s one the whole family can enjoy because we’d all be a bit stuffed otherwise!

Raffie loves Shaun SO much that for his second birthday a couple of month’s ago we held a Shaun the Sheep party complete with grazing meadow and the most fab cake (made by Gram of course) – check out my post about the party here! And his love for his favourite character has only grown since then!

The Shaun the Sheep grazing meadow was one of my favourite parties to create yet!

And we DO all love Shaun but I can’t say we weren’t happy when the new film Farmageddon was released because it gave us a new one to watch that we haven’t already seen about a billion times and we went to a premier screening for its launch which was mega exciting!

Just a little bit of fun at a premier screening of Shaun The Sheep: Farmageddon!

And now, finally, the time has come for the film to be released on DVD! In celebration of its release to Blu-Ray, DVD and Digital Download (which is TODAY 10/02/2020 in the UK) we were invited to see it one more time on the big screen at the Soho Hotel!

We jumped at the chance – this time Florence got to come too having missed it first time around due to a rehearsal! I can confirm they all LOVED it. I can also confirm that just because you love a show, and love a character, it doesn’t mean you love people being dressed up in giant costumes of them. Raffie = Shaun the Sheep mega fan but not if he’s in a full sized costume it seems!

This was the best picture I got of them – that little face is saying STAY AWAY FROM ME if ever I saw it!

It’s ok though… he still loves shaun and isn’t traumatised by the experience of meeting his giant character… See, he’s on the sofa watching it right now as I type, of course!

Raffie likes his Shaun the Sheep to be a bit smaller that’s all!
