Novelty food catches all children’s eyes and mine are no exception. I’m not adverse to dressing a crumpet up as a monkey or using cookie cutters to jazz up a sandwich and it always goes down well with my picky eaters!
I like to give them home made food most of the time but I do let a few things slip through the net occasionally. A little bit of what you fancy every now and then isn’t bad as long as it’s in moderation and we do sometimes have things like chicken nuggets, chips and peas! Why not! It’s quick and easy and these days actually not all that bad for you! Nothing beats a home cooked meal but every now and then it’s lovely to have something quick and easy from the freezer don’t you think?
Birds Eye have some pretty fun and fabulous new chicken nuggets in their range and we all got to try them (not just the children) last night! Chicken nuggets are often not full of rubbish these days and the Birds Eye Chicken Space Shapes and BBQ Chicken Bites are made with 100% chicken breast while being free from artificial colours, flavours and preservatives! The space shapes are fun being stars, moons and space ships and the BBQ Chicken Bites are delicious!
New Birds Eye Chicken Space Shapes and BBQ Chicken Bites!
We had a long day yesterday and when we got home we wanted something quick, tasty and easy to cook. These fitted the bill perfectly and also provided the novelty factor! We had them with peas and jacket potato (we’ll have chips another day) and all really enjoyed them – why not for a treat?!
We all enjoyed them!
They are fairly pricey but if you’re not eating them all the time (and you shouldn’t be) then they’re definitely worth it occasionally!
