Camping With Coleman!

It’s The Caravan, Camping & Motorhome Show 2020 next week and I’m gutted that we will no longer be able to attend. The plan had been to visit and check out all that’s new for the world of camping, alas, children’s amazing social lives and time has gone against us and we will have to miss it!

We love to camp and every summer (we ARE quite fair weather it has to be said) we make some fabulous memories as we sleep under the stars (well, not QUITE, Coleman tents are pretty ace at keeping the elements at bay) as we off to festivals and often just pop down the road to the beach for a few nights away!

So… If you’re into camping or fancy giving it a go then do visit the show which is on at the Birmingham NEC from the 18th – 23rd of Feb. Coleman will be there showing off their BRILLIANT BlackOut Bedroom tents (which we can personally vouch for, especially with babies and toddlers – honestly don’t think any of ours ever sleep so long, I’ve almost thought about pitching one in their rooms permanently) as well as lots of their other wares. I’ve my eye on an air tent this year and we are SO in need of an event shelter (I always look with at the other campers with their Coleman event shelter pros) and a few other items. I’m after a table and chairs and a rotary clothes line. Don’t laugh… It will change the way we camp I just know it and actually that’s what camping is all about. Trial and error, adding to your collection each year, working out what works and what doesn’t and trying out different sites. We are NOT wild campers, I need a good facilities block and preferably a swimming pool. I could have told you that before I ever tried of course but other things have surprised me like I love to cook while camping so the right equipment is necessary. I really do wish I could go to the show!

Our gang of happy campers outside our Coleman Mackenzie 6 Blackout tent!

If you haven’t been before then the show is the place for you to go and try for size And… FYI, right now, if you buy the new Coleman Weathermaster or Valdes Deluxe air tents at the show or from qualifying retailers you actually get a Camping & Caravanning Club membership worth £46 with all purchases – this gives you perks like discounts at certain sites as well as the knowledge that a certain standard has to be adhered to. It may be cold outside now baby but it won’t be for long. Crocus heads are poking through the ground and the bluebells are a coming. I can’t wait to get me a bit of camping action in for 2020!

Collaboration.
