We had a day in central London yesterday, a lovely sunny day with Alice from An Essex Wife, her brood and some of her friends.

We started the day off at a small preview of the new show coming to the New London Theatre, Elephantom! A children’s play using puppets and fun taken from the popular story book by Ross Collins. The puppetry is astounding and not surprising when you find out it’s been worked on by some of the people who worked on War Horse!

We didn’t get to see much of the show but what we did see looks awesome and made us smile lots! We also got to catch up with Daddy blogger, Kip Hakes which is always a pleasure! Take a look at the show…

Next up and Florence got to go to lunch with Alice and friends while I ran across town with a sleeping Jimmy to do some jobs, thanks Alice, she had a fab time with you! And then I met back up with them for some Covent Garden street theatre watching as we slowly made our way to the bus stop to head east!

We were heading off on the bus to Brick Lane for some cake with Tate and Lyle who have a Bank of Baking open for all bakery dreamers! We arrived to a banking room filled with cakes! An ATM, vault and money desk all made of sweet treats which the children were invited to tuck into… And they did!
