Dearest Posie,

You are five years old, and in what has to be the fastest to five ever, you’re somehow no longer a baby but a little school girl instead. Always the baby of the family though, as you tell me yourself often – I think it’s a position in the pack you love, and why wouldn’t you? Absolutely everyone adoring you and at your disposal to do whatever you need them to, we all just want to make you happy Posie Popplechops, just as we have done from the minute we met you for the first time!

You are, at five, super clever and very funny! You are competent and wise and you look after everyone else, just as much as they look after you. You read so beautifully and when you play it is always with great thought and character. You are an actress in the making for sure!

You craft and draw and dance, you love your baby dollies, and playing with your friends and you adore music, especially K-Pop Demon Hunters of which your party is themed. Your party is going to be a big one in the hall with all your friends and we can’t wait to celebrate the next two weeks with you. Today is the big day with the morning treasure hunt, giving out bee necklaces at school, a Chinese with Gram this evening and presents! Then we have family coming for a party tea on Saturday before the party in half term – Well, if your birthday falls on a tuesday it’s only right to stretch it out a bit to make up for it!
