Ok, I could wait no longer! I see the clouds in the sky and feel the chill in the air, the children and I are done up in cardigans and coats (admittedly lighter ones than a couple of months ago but still…) and I have the rain covers firmly stored under the buggy but it just had to be done! Le Donk has FINALLY been ‘jazzed up for summer‘! It’s a shame that the footmuff is still on, but actually, my little monkey Jimmy bites the carry bar so at least it’s protecting that!
I’ve had these gorgeously enticing new Bugaboo boxes sitting waiting for the sunshine for ages and I just thought if I don’t flipping well put them on now it’ll be September – such is the British weather! And hey, it might just help entice a bit of warmth in the air… Nothing else has! We keep getting sniffs of summer and then it all just goes behind a cloud so I am blowing a raspberry at our British summertime and we’re jazzing up anyway!
Did you know that you don’t have to buy a whole new buggy to create a whole new look? I absolutely love it and feel like my buggy has had a complete make-over! People keep asking if I have a new buggy and it feels like I do too but I’ve just got new fabrics! You get a hood and apron in each pack and then just switch them right over! It took me a few minutes – seriously!
Just before I go, I’ve got to share Florence’s latest preferred method of travel – that poor old Donkey!
And I must let you know of my new project coming up! We also have our faithful old Bugaboo Bee which is perfect for City living and we’ve used and loved it ever since Florence was born! I’m going to be working my way around London visiting the stops on the Monopoly board and using all forms of London public transport on the way whilst using our Bee! Hope you can join me for my new project which will run alongside ‘Donkey Watch’, it will be called ‘Bee In The City’! One can NEVER have too many Bugaboos dhhhaaaaarling! 😉
