Easter 2023 At Roarr Dinosaur Adventure!
Since having our annual passes for Roarr! Dinosaur Adventure (bought for Posie’s birthday and she doesn’t even need one FYI as is under the height requirement for a paid ticket) we have been lots and lots. More than got our money’s worth as we’ve been at LEAST once a week. I bought them because I thought how perfect it would be to pop on down after school once the sun warms our cockles a bit more and until then it would be the perfect place to entertain the little two while the big ones attend sporting fixtures on cold, wintry pitches we don’t want to stand on the sidelines for (that’s Daddy’s job)! And we LOVE them!
It seems Roarr! listened to their customer (another smaller, family run business in Norfolk able to execute change immediately) and moved the annular passes from fixed dates to rolling 12 months, just as they used to be. I lost count of the amount of messages I’d receive when we’d visit about the change I’m the passes so I know you will all be very pleased about that! And they’ve also brought about some really great benefits which include discounts, but also when it’s dates like the Mother’s Day weekend and a paying customer is invited to bring a guest for FREE, pass holders can do just that too! Phenom!
Anyway, pass holders though we are, it was delightful to be invited to their press launch day for Easter which sees, I’m the same week they opened their accessible changing room (BRAVO Roarr!) the re-introduction of the Splash Zone (seriously, someone was in it on Saturday!), the ending of the refurbishment to the Valley of the Dinosaurs meaning you can complete the trail on a much smoother and more accessible pathway, AND the opening of High Ropes for the season!
I always think anywhere else would charge extra for activities like High Ropes but not Roarr!, it’s an all-inclusive ticket here which even does FREE download-able photographs at the end of the trail meaning for once I get to be in them without it being a selfie!
For Easter, on top of the usual packed in fun, like High Ropes and the Splash Zone, play areas, archaeological digs, Valley of the Dinosaurs, the Lost World A-Mazing Adventure, Dippy’s Raceway, golf, the theatre experiences, indoor soft play for all ages and the farm, they are offering an immersive fairytale trail, anegg hunt (win prizes like annual passes – ker-ching!), crafting, meet and greets and lots of rainbow brightly coloured fun. I loved the rainbow of kindness where we left an Easter message!
As paying customers we are just as impressed as we ever have been as guests of the park (which technically we were Saturday). I think actually, more so. When I am invited to review things I’m quite aware that places could be on their best behaviour so it’s always a real treat to go back, as a customer, and know the service is no different. And it really isn’t! They have some absolutely fantastic staff working at Roarr! And we are grateful every visit for the standard of service!
Nowhere is perfect, absolutely nowhere and someone would always be able to find criticism somewhere. Because that’s life isn’t it and not everyone can be pleased by everything they see however, Roarr! Do a blooming good job of .asking it as near as dammit to it. I have very few things I could critique in any meaningful way, so I won’t. Just as with Pensthorpe, Wroxham Barns, BeWILDerwood and the Norfolk Museums, we go back time and time again because we don’t tire of them, they are constantly changing and evolving and making things new and exciting on every visit. Or EGG-Citing as they are right now at Roarr! for Easter 2023!
For Dippy’s Egg-Cellent Easter running 1st-17th of April ticket prices in advance, on-line, are £23.95 for anyone over 90cm with concessionary discounts available.
Thanks for having us to your press Day Roarr! We’re BIG Roarr-Some fans!
