Easter Holidays 2026 – Week 2 (and 3)!

After the indulgences of the Easter weekend we rolled into week 2 (and 3, because the little two had an extra day and the big kids had a whole extra week) with plans for more of everything! More days out, more chocolate, more fun with friends and family… We had a couple of days in London staying at a Premier Inn for most of us while Florence stayed with her London besties. The boys went to see Leyton Orient in our old stomping ground and the girls and I took a walk to Stratford retracing the many stomping steps I used to take with Florence and Jimmy when they were babies. We put Posie in the buggy as it’s a really long walk and headed to Westfield for some shopping, Discover Story (another old haunt) fun with a pop up they have while they are refurbishing and to play in the park outside the shopping centre. Off to the hotel we spent the night in Waltham Abbey before hitting London again the next day. Florence went to drop in dance classes at Pineapple with her friends and we went to the Battersea Power Station shopping centre for a bloggy thing, then for a meal at Brewdog and a theatre trip to see The Boy At The Back Of The Class at the Southbank Centre. We had some slow fun in the sun in because it finally came out and London is never more glorious than when bathed im sunshine! We also had a slower day or two to make up for the walking and late nights (midnight when we got back from London) and went to Roarr again too because annual passes and all that! We don’t want to go back to school and I really wish we didn’t have to. By the next holiday Florence will have started her GCSEs, how has this happened?! One minute she was Posie’s age and now she’s doing her exams – and working so gard for them too!
