February Half term 2022!

We started the holidays with a vom bug (of course) and a hint of COVID about the house (had to get us at some point) but thankfully none of that lasted and we went forth into half term fun which was great but cold! So very cold and I had not had the same impetus to book things up like I usually do, yet we still managed to be quite busy! Jimmy did a couple of football days (sob – not what I enjoy about school holidays – sending them into school) which he was really keen to do but the rest of the time we spent with family and friends and it was perfect! Trips out to Wroxham Barns, Pensthorpe and the theatre interspersed with down time, swimming and quite a lot of food! Perfect. But like I said, cold. SO COLD!

Poorly boy!
The babes in the baby wing of the lambing live event at Wroxham Barns!
A first toddle outside!
Gram and Posie!
Petting barn!
Big brothers are the best!
Feeding chickens is just about fine for Raffie!
Feeding goats is not!
Nope, we aren’t going to get one Florence!
Valentine’s Day!
With love for all!
And a special breakfast!
With hearts on our sleeves!
Any excuse for chocolate at the breakfast table!
Pensthorpe with pals!
Loads of fresh (cold) air!
Doesn’t stop a picnic!
Or a poo trail!
From heights!
Dressed as a boy after walking around in her other suit the day before!
GANG!
Big kids off at football camp and lunching with Gram and it was a swim with the littles kind of Tuesday!
Raffie is SO confident now!
Jimmy enjoyed a football day on Wednesday after a disastrous non football day at a useless club run at his school on Tueday!
We waited for him with drinks!
And watched him play!
Posie fell a bit in love with her birthday dolly!
Which is so sweet!
Thursday was a paper workshop at the Theatre Royal Norwich!
Mainly for the older ones!
And JUST up Jimmy’s street!
Then we did their drama workshop for the little ones!
Which was super fun!
Friends came to stay and brought cake!
After a late night with friends staying these two!
Friday our frauds from London were still here so the girls went off for a girlie day and Daddy took the boys for a pizza and cinema treat!
The girls started off with a manicure in Primark!
Followed by a trip to the hair dressers!
For a wash and blow dry!
Florence doing her very best TOWIE!
It was a long wait for the rest of us girls!
But worth it!
Their hair looked amazing!
Then it was off to Wagamamas for lunch!
Florence’s fave!
A first babycinno!
A lovely day with mates!
And of course it finished with a Starbees!
Jimmy and I had an early morning swim just us on Saturday!
Then we headed to Cromer for a wet and windy (as well as cold) afternoon!
They put on brave faces…
Most of the time!
And enjoyed it!
Most of the time!
I mean the boys like to lift rocks whatever the weather!
To see what they can find!
And they don’t seem to feel the cold so!
We also went to the arcade!
Which they love!
Even though Jonny does NOT!
Waffles had been requested for at some point over the holidays and I delivered!
A trip to the theatre to see Fireman Sam Saves The Circus was how we kicked off the last day of the holidays!
Just the little two and me!
They enjoyed it immensely!
And stung me for a very expensive bit of toot!
But what a treat!
All before a boys afternoon at the Ladies England Vs Spain match at Carrow Road, Raffie’s first big stadium experience and he loved it!

And then we were done. A slower than usual half term but still filled with fun! Am looking forward to Easter now and hoping hoping better weather to get some more of those lovely beach days in!
