George At Asda Spring For Summer!

This time last week the boys and I were off to London Zoo in search of some Easter fun with George at Asda. It was the first really warm day and we basked in the sunlight that London gifted us enjoying every second of the vitamin D injection we all do badly needed. Fast forward one week and we’ve had a whole bank holiday weekend of warmth – who’d have thought? – BBQs, paddling pools and more importantly a change of fashion! Hurrah at last!

We were welcomed to the party with lots of yummy Asda food for Easter – check out those marshmallows and crumpets which in both cases we have already bought when shopping in Asda – so cute!

I love my Autumn/Winter uniform of black tights and boots but man it’s good to get the flowy skirts, maxi dresses and little tops out for the season. And the kiddos have been desperate too – I’ve bought them a few summery bits when I’ve seen them and they’ve just been waiting to get them on!

Meeting up with George at Asda got me even more in the feels for summer and their collection for the upcoming seasons of sandals is glorious in both colour, quality and price point – as ever! I’m a real fan of the George line of clothing always and go out of my way to make a trip there for kids clothing. I always get the echo uniform in Asda, especially Florence’s summer dresses (she says they are the best style) and when it comes to lovely clothes they’re just great for all ages. They also make baby shoes, proper shoes not just pram style, in a size 3 which is immense as can’t ever find them anywhere else. Raffie is a 2.5 and clearly a walker yet all other inexpensein places start at a size 4. In fact, even Startrite don’t make proper walkers in his size!

I picked him up some canvas shoes at George over the weekend and he loves them!

But… On to that party…

We were there to see some of the collection and have fun with George’s Easter crafts (which Jimmy did, Raffie slept the entire time and Florence had to stay home as she was in a show at the Playhouse all week) and he got massively stuck in before we had a really fun day around the zoo!

Cheers George… Loved the party and the zoo. Here’s some of my faves from the collection!

Jimmy living his best in the balls at the party while I looked at the clothes!

My faves for girls:

Bikinis with higher bottoms and longer tops making them not quite tankinis but somewhere in the middle – a compromise for mothers and daughters perhaps!
Amazing accessories!
Such lovely grown up pyjamas!

For the boys:

Jimmy loved this T!
And this one!
While I’d have all of mine (Florence included) in one of these!

And for the babies:

Hands down my most favourite piece for boys and girls is this dino rain coat – dino buttons finish it off perfectly!
Billie Faires at George at Asda – who knew this collection existed let alone was so gorge!
It has beautiful matching items! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the first print!
I love this for a little boy toddler too!
Such gorgeous rompers and summery bits!

Hoenstly what a lovely collection George and this is only a small selection – can’t wait to get my trio in some of this soon – come on sun, you’ve just got to stay for a bit now ok!

Jimmy eating SO much ice cream at the George at Asda Easter party!
Before we headed into the zoo for more fun!
What a great day!

George at Asda invited us to London Zoo to see their spring/summer collection.
