George Spring Summer 2020!

I LOVE my job for a plethora of reasons and one of them is that I get invited to the most wonderful events like the one I went to tonight… Oh how I adore to see the fashion as promised for summer before anyone else. Even better when said fashion is affordable and from the supermarket, I mean come on… I love clothes but I have three children and absolutely no spare time to shop or disposable income with which to make any purchases even if I did find a slot in between beavers and cups and drama and music lessons! So… A trip around the supermarket is indeed where I buy most (not all, but most is accurate) of my clothes these days!

Don’t feel sorry for me for I need no pity. None whatsoever in fact, not with t he likes of George at Asda who treated me to their Spring/Summer launch party where I got to fall in love with… A jumper of dreams (puff ball sleeves for £12.50), a magnificent skirt that would make Jessica Lange circa 1983 eat her heart out and a pair of shoes carol King would be proud of. ALL JUST up my supermarket aisle and all well within budget!

Tonight I’ve had a taste of summer and believe me, I’m looking forward to it – lying under a balmy sky in the garden, swinging in a Hammock while I sip on something cool, it’s calling to me but before I plan my summer garden time, I’m thinking about the sunshine wardrobe Asda has promised… So what did I see tonight?!

There was a denim bar with jeans for all – boyfriend, skinny with lift and shape, balloon (not for me but man if I was a skinny minnie I’d be all over them) and beyond!

I loved so much of what I saw so here’s my faves (I put more on my IG stories but have whittled down for here) and look out Asda stores as they will all be in pretty soon – End of this month and March I am told for most with some of the swimwear hitting around May!
