Little Tikes X Little Baby Bum Toy Launch!

We were always fans of Little Tikes but Little Baby Bum came to us relatively recently courtesy of the Raffster. I think he was about 6 months old when we stumbled, in the middle of the night, through Netflix trying to find something that might entertain him. And then, like a shining beacon of light, there it was, mesmerising him from the word go!

Well, he’s just turned two and is still a BIG fan and thankfully, so are the big kids who sing the songs along with him and frankly I don’t blame them, those tunes are catchy (my personal fave is ‘down by the bay, where the watermelons grow…’)!

And… It seems ones favourite has met another with Little Tikes and Little baby Bum joining forces to bring out an exciting new toy range capturing the beauty of all things Little Baby Bum mixed with the clever toy building of LT. We were invited to a party at Hamleys in London yesterday to launch the range and got to have a good play with it all and can confirm that it’s all DELIGHTFUL!

Raffie’s fave toy from the collection was a toss up between the jiggling yellow bus and the piano but I think the piano won it!

The toys are lovely, bright colours, easy for little hands to hold and full of colour and tunes. Just like Little Baby Bum in fact. There is a ride on which was very popular as well as this piano which Raffie took a shine to and a plethora of soft toys which buzzed and made music, Some perfect items for tiny tots too especially the soft books. Often it’s a tricky choice when buying for a new baby but I think these little softy toys would be rather perfect!

It’s a lush collection between two really great baby faves and we had a FAB time at the party – it was worth braving Storm Ciara for!

We didn’t arrive looking our best, Ciara the storm saw to that but damp as we were for real, we didn’t have damp spirits and the party was ACE!
Fabulous food!
Even the big kids had fun!
Wonderful entertainment, although they didn’t sing the watermelon song more’s the pity!
Who doesn’t love a balloon – hey, don’t steal one of the Little Baby Bum stars Raffie!
Decorating biscuits!
Jimmy loved it and he even really liked the toys although he would say he was only ‘helping’ his little brother!
I think for hi it must have been like being at the concert of your favourite band!
Whilst being plied with cake!
I got to hang out with these dream boats – Two Dads In London!
AND these dream boats of course!
I think Florence was most impressed by the lifts in Hamleys!
A really cool collaboration!
And a REALLY ace party for some fab new toys!
We loved being at the party even though the weather was AWFUL – this is us warming up with a hot choc on the way home, loaded down with Little Tikes x Little Baby Bum toys and feeling very smiley, if a little wet and wind swept!
