I can’t believe half term is over. It’s flown by! I guess it always does when you’re having fun!
We decamped to Norwich to stay with my Mum and most of the time we spent playing at home, dressing up and playing with toys. Sometimes it’s good not to do too much at all!
We did have one big day out when we visited Bewilderwood again! We had such a good time there a few weeks ago (see here for my full review) that we just wanted to go back and experience it again!
We were very kindly treated to a half term fun kit from Warburtons who sent us vouchers to buy the bread we might need for the week as well as lots of fun activity ideas, some activity kits and even the tickets for our day out at Bewilderwood! We had such a great week so thank you Warburtons!
At the beginning of the week, when Daddy was there too, we made paper aeroplanes from our kit. The children thought they were fab and had loads of fun but probably not quite as much fun as Daddy!
Most of the week was spent in fancy dress for Halloween!
We had lots of indoor picnics! The children love the Warburtons Half and Half Sandwich Thins! I do too. They’re so easy to prepare a sandwich with as they are pre cut and then have a pattern on them which makes it easy to slice into strips for Jimmy! They’re soft and easy to eat which is why they’re so good for the children!
We prepared for Halloween with some pumpkin carving!
And witch’s brew tiffin cake making!
On the actual day we had face painting! Florence said ‘You’re not very good at face painting are you Mummy?’ I think I will have to practice before her birthday party!
We had fun playing apple bobbing!
We loved trick or treat hunting!
And then we had a spooky feast! We had hot dogs (Warburtons do some yummy hot dog rolls) followed by jelly ghosties and bats with ice cream and spooky sprinkles!
Our last day in Norwich was spent at Bewilderwood!
Bewilderwood was a fabulous way to end our half term! We spent the day with my sister-in-law Tory who writes workitmamma and my nephew Arthur! A perfect day with family spent playing on baby zip wires, climbing in the trees, story times, treasure hunts, lantern making, sand pit playing, slide whooshing and finally a lantern parade to lead us out of the park after dark! Seeing all the lanterns a glow and watching the lights to make fire flies in the trees as we waved goodbye to Bewilderwood was awesome! We were worn out but we had a fabulous day!
Our half term was so fab that we made this video to show you our highlights!
I have not been paid to write this post. Warburtons sent me a half term kit with no obligations to write about them.
What a wonderfully spooky half term! Wonderful day and Bewilderwood and we love it when you come home. Xx
