Know Where You Are In Ibiza!

Know Where You Are In Ibiza!

I’d love to say there was a time in my life when I’d wanted to intrepidly explore the world, fly by the seat of my pants and book hotels as and when I arrived at destinations. But it simply wouldn’t be true. While it may seem far cooler, the reason I’d love to be able to “say it”, to appear to others as if I am worldly and educated as a result of my travels, the thought of being a free spirit when it comes to holidays has never appealed. I have only ever opted for the easiest, and the most decadent lifestyle when away from home and frankly, I don’t see why anyone would want it any other way. I went to Egypt and did not see the pyramids because it was too much travelling and far too much time away from the beach and pool. I went to India and flew from one place to the next because I didn’t want to experience the culture of chickens on trains as my friends told the stories of how exciting they’d found that. I just wanted to get from A to B and end up in Goa. On the beach and by the pool. I could be anywhere in the world but a holiday for me is about lying on a sun bed, with actual sunshine beaming upon me and doing blissfully nothing at all. I realise the word tourist suggests you tour, for me not so. I’m a stay put and don’t move a muscle type of girl, unless it’s to reach for another olive or a sip of wine!

It was that way when I was young, and it is that way now. There have been no youth hostels in my back catalogue of vay-cays, no island hopping and no living out of suitcases. There are also no regrets about that at all! And I strive and endeavour to holiday in the very same way I always have done going forwards. Minimal work, no cooking but with great food, sunshine, sand and sea. A pool. A view. A cold glass of something in the evening and early bedtimes with early risings so as not to miss a moment of the day. That’s me on holiday. End of.

I have always preferred an All Inclusive hotel, just as I have always opted for a Balearic Island over any other. I adore Majorca and Menorca and Ibiza, though a party island for some, has always been found to be a reverie for me. I adore it. Azure seas with white, soft sand and a climate which keeps the rays of golden lustre well into the winter months. It’s a short plane ride from the UK and most airports, including local ones, will fly there. Now that I have children the ideals I have for my perfect holiday have been even more cemented. No one wants a long haul flight with four children in tow, least of all me and absolutely everyone wants to have what they want on tap – of course this is where All Inclusive comes into its own. The children need ice cream, done! The children would like drinks, they get them! I need a three course feast or even a light snack and no one is dipping into their pockets. You now where you are with this type of holiday in Ibiza and I’m very here for it let me tell you!

Invisa Ereso is a hotel just 27km from the airport, situated on the East coast at Es Canar. It’s a beach resort surrounded by crystal clear waters and to go with the Mediterranean backdrop it offers the exact fit I’m looking for when travelling abroad. Quiet, cooling rooms with views to start the best days to, plenty of water and sports fun for the children and amazing reviews of its services and food. I’m there… Oh I’d so be there… I can almost close my eyes and feel it, can you?!

I’d love to be hopping on a plane this summer with the children in tow and allowing them the freedom that only an All Inclusive hotel can afford. I’d always say that knowing where you are is the key to having a relaxing holiday and with a holiday like this, you don’t have to think for a second! We have one week in the holidays which could become available should the right flights come up and Ibiza is firmly on my radar!

Collaboration.
