Lighthouse Brights For Winter!

I am a mega fleece fan, and when the weather merges seasons together, where a bit of a nip might be in the air but it isn’t quite cold enough for a coat, a fleece takes you year round! Summer evenings, spring mornings, wintry afternoons and autumnal walks can all find the fleece as their friend and I am absolutely in raptures about my, and the tiny two’s new ones from Lighthouse Clothing!

I just love the preppy, New England vibe to Lighthouse styles in general and these fleeces epitomise the classy notes I adore from the brand while also giving a colourful flare. I do always prefer the children to dress colourfully – if for nothing else so that I can spot them easily in the playground, but I think you will agree, these are simply gorgeous!

Raffie wears the Kian Peagreen Fleece (£29.99) which is cosy and practical while also being super warm. It’s roomy enough to wear over another jumper and used instead of a coat but also soft and squishy enough to fint under a coat too. We like very much!

Posie’s fleece is a little bit different as it only has a 3 quarter zip but I think with the splash of floral that gives it a really eye catching look. The same goes for it’s practicality and fit and with both of them (as well as mine) being easy to wash and dry in record timings, they are the perfect bedfellow for a warm over or mid-layer!

As for me and mine… Oh well I’m not brave enough to go very bold in colour but every other plus point to the children’s fleeces stands by my Coast Fleece in Irish Cream (£54.99). I love it, it looks so lush with a black mini and boots, but equally as lovely teamed with jeans!

And while I’m getting my Lighthouse fix, I do have to tell you how much I’m enjoying wearing my new Vanessa Acrylic Dress in Pine (£79.99). It’s soft and cosy, still looks very smart though and the colour brings it right into the festive season perfectly! This mini dress with black tights and boots (my usual wont) is a new wardrobe favourite of mine that will be keeping a top spot for years to come I would imagine!
