Around this time last year the children and I were invited to experience the who shebang at the Build-A-Bear Workshop! I wrote about what a fabulous time we had here and it really was wonderful, something Florence has talked about often!
I think the whole process of choosing, giving the bear a heart, a sound, a smell even and finally creating it using the stuffing machine just was super good fun not to mention choosing an outfit! I remember that they have special characters to choose from as well as bears, Florence was rather taken with the ‘Hello Kitty’ range at the time and often spots new things in the window when we are out shopping. At the moment they have a ‘My Little Pony’ range which is JUST up Florence’s street!
I was asked would she like to review one of the toys in the range, they would send me one (I had no idea you could build your bear from a computer at home) so I absolutely had to say yes please! I think her reaction is clear to see in these pictures!
Florence immediately thought Fluttershy was absolutely brilliant!
The thing about ‘Build-A-Bear Workshop’ is that you can have as much or as little as you like when purchasing. You can buy just the pony or add to it with capes and accessories, just like all the bears! Florence knew from the box Fluttershy came in that she was from ‘Build-A -Bear Workshop’ and was very excited indeed. When she realised Fluttershy Pony had long hair to brush she was even more pleased! This is a little girl’s perfect teddy and Florence has been playing with her ever since!
She has wings, clothes and hair to brush – fabulous!
The toys are not cheap and in my eyes are for a very special treat but they really are worth it for something special. Especially a pony like this one! I’m not sure I would personally order one on line, it does take the fun out of the building which can be a proper day out if you want it to be but either way Florence is very pleased with her Fluttershy Pony!
I was sent a Fluttershy Pony for the purpose of review.
Oh, my daughter would LOVE that!
I have a little girl who would love that – I do think they are quite expensive though! Thanks for linking up with #TriedTested
