We’re Lollibop Festival Ambassadors!

This entry was posted in Uncategorized.

We feel very lucky that again this year we have been asked to be Lollibop ambassadors!

I’ve said it before but I’ll say it again, it is an absolute highlight of this summer calendar for us and if I’m honest, not just for the children but for me too! I flipping LOVE it!

This year, as usual, we will be going on the Friday. This means however, that we will miss Justin Fletcher… I’ve ummed and ahhed about whether we should go on the weekend instead but have decided that with Mister Maker being there instead and with all the other Friday treats, Friday is going to be a GREAT day to go…

So… As ambassadors we will be able to bring you all the latest news as it comes in! We will also be giving a reader the chance to WIN A FAMILY TICKET TO LOLLIBOP! How exciting so watch this space!

We are looking forward to everything! And everything is new too! There are a few old faves but honest and truthfully Lollibop have done it again when it comes to the line up and have a brand spanking new festival with new acts, new shows and new workshops! There’s a reason they call it THE BIG BASH FOR LITTLE PEOPLE!

This year is the first time Lollibop won’t be held in London but I think actually, that’s quite a good thing. It’s a short journey from Kings Cross by train and is easily accessible from all over the country. And if you fancy driving there is parking on site (small parking charge may apply). We’ll be getting the train with lots of pals meaning our party atmosphere will start even earlier, I do love a good train party!

On our must do list we have: Disney On Ice 100 Years Of magic Present A Silent Disco, Mister Maker, Mr Bloom, Postman Pat, Swashbuckle, Scooby Doo, Lazy Town, Andy Day, Chris and Pui, Roald Dhal Museum, Michaela Strachan and Alex Winters… And then of course there’s all the other things we want to do…

Will one day be enough I wonder?!

We will get there from the start and not leave until they kick us out so I hope so…

Oh! And have I mentioned my challenge? A friend wants Florence to take Bear Grylls to task on why he has only men on his new programme… He’s going to be at the festival with his survival academy so we shall see…

Here’s to looking forward to another stonking year at Lollibop!

  1. Well done on being an Ambassador again. Would love to take the family to Lollibop and looks like so much fun. My son especially would be star struck
