Merry Christmas Thomas - Peep! Peep!

Thomas and Friends are back with a brand new double DVD just in time for Christmas. Thomas and Friends: Merry Christmas Thomas and bonus DVD ‘Big Bang Surprise’ is out to buy on Amazon now and we’ve been watching for a festive Thomas review on the blog!

The Island of Sodor turns snowy as these six festive episodes see the gang at Christmas time tell fun stories which will delight little Thomas fans! I love the traditional style of Thomas anyway but with all the twinkling lights somehow it’s even more special! With DVD extras, games and a second DVD containing a further five episodes it would make an ideal Christmas present or treat in the run up to the big day! It’s certainly mood setting and the perfect afternoon cuddle up DVD for a cold wintry afternoon!

Thomas and Friends have been around for forever as far as I’m concerned! I remember watching it as a child and although the graphics have definitely changed it still does retain an old fashioned edge which I personally like. Little boys in my family have loved Thomas for generations and just this weekend gone Jimmy at 18 months was playing with my 25 year old cousin’s ancient Thomas toys when we visited family! To have such lasting power and Thomas must be doing something right eh!

We watch on television of course but to have a special DVD like this is also rather lovely, especially when it’s for Christmas and Christmassy in nature! I don’t think I’ve seen a Thomas Christmas special before now, I’m not saying there hasn’t been one but this is a first for me and we rather like it!
