Last week during half term the children and I took a trip back to London to meet up with Katy from ModernMummy and her brood so that we could attend the press preview for the Autumn/Winter range at Nutmeg. I love a good supermarket fashion buy, why not? These days the clothes you can pick up while doing the weekly shop are just as good as anywhere else on the high street with fab designs and absolutely brilliant quality what’s not to love?! Nutmeg clothing in particular is lovely and I always enjoy seeing what they have lined up for the next season. I enjoy speaking to their design team who are very passionate and the clothes are just up my street. Always a touch of the old-fashioned which is how I think children should be dressed and yet again their ‘Woodland’ inspired line stole my attention!
The event was held in a bookshop in central London with a petting farm also on the guest list to entertain the little ones and while Katy and I perused the children had a ball – thanks Nutmeg!
So… Wanna see some sneak peeks at our faves? You’ll have to forgive the lighting in my pictures, I ahve a new camera, had it on a very strange setting and couldn’t work out how to stop it wothout the instructions (I know, I know, blogger fail)…
I think for me, the key thing is the fact that there is something for everyone and not only that but the age selections cross over so you’re never stuck up to a certain cut off age and that’s that! There’s room to move. They seem to really understand what parents want and that’s a really good thing because next they are bringing out a range for the grown ups too! About time and much anticipated… tehy say people save the best till last so we can’t wait!
Thanks again Nutmeg and Morrisons, we had a fab day with you as did these little beans!
