Pass The Pugs!

Pass The Pigs has long time been a favourite of mine and as a child I remember my Mum and I playing frequently, especially when we went on holiday. It’s the perfect travel sized game and works really well in an airport, on a plane or anywhere where space is a premium. That old little game of mine has been very well travelled over the years and even into adulthood Jonny and I would take it everywhere we went – on the inside of the score card booklet you get with the game can still be found the scores from many a game I’ve played over the years and yet somehow that little book never seems to run out of space to record a new play!

That pocket travel game is absolutely ancient now, indeed the packaging has changed over the years that you can actually see my version is vintage but that’s nothing if not testament to the longevity this game can offer be you child or adult and when it comes to playing with the family it’s absolutely perfect as no skill set is requires, just the ability to throw little piggies, as you would a dice!

Depending on how they fall you score points, a piggy on his snout slightly leaning is a called a “leaning jowler” and scores very highly but not as highly as a double of course and with all the moves right down to the naughtily named “Making bacon” this is a fun and hilarious way of wiling away some time either waiting for transit or just for a bit of fun. My children love it too and do you know what else they love? Pugs. Can’t get enough of them and with me being very anti dogs in general, they will never have a real one (while they live at home) so all manner of pug related stuff has hit this house since the obsession first started, now we’ve gone pug crazy with the pug version of Pass the Pigs, Pass the Pugs if you will!

Easy to travel with case!
Keeping everything inside!
Different lands gain different points!
Score card booklet!
Just roll like dice!
And go!

The exact same game but instead of throwing little piggies to try and make it to 100, sticking until your next go so you don’t lose all your points or just rushing through with the gumption of a gambler, you are throwing pugs! Brilliant. Even Raffie at age 4 can join in with the big kids on this one and we’ve been having lots of fun with this re-boot of the game we all know and love, in updated packaging (unlike our pigs game) no less!

Double bummer if you don’t pick up this game!

An absolutely terrific game for all ages and now, for pug fans especially! We love it, have you played yet?

You can actually get a whole host of Pass the Pigs related games these days from Pass the Pigs Top Trumps to the Giant Pass the Pigs version. So much fun. Pass the Pugs is priced at £9.48 on Amazon.

Collaboration.
