Photowall Makes The Difference!

Photowall Makes The Difference!

I’ve been slowly decorating Posie’s bedroom with lots of special pieces, collecting them over time from before she was born knowing there was no rush because she was unlikely to be sleeping in there any time soon. I mean, this is still the case of course but I think I’ve finally finished her room so that it’s ready for her when she does need a space of her own.

Over time I’ve saved things like the flowers from the bouquets I was sent when she was born, I dried them and have framed them in a box frame to keep forever. I’ve chosen thoughtful things to hang on her walls which mean a lot to me or have something to do with her name which, like all the children, has an insect for a middle name. Posie Pamela Honeybee obviously has lots of little bees in her room and with gorgeous blankets from our fave The Tartan Blanket Company, and artwork gifted from friends to celebrate her birth, there has been a pink theme from the day she was born – a delicate room for our delicate little Posie of flowers! But, I didn’t want it to be boring and needed there to be lots of bold, striking colours! I bought her a rug and with that the colour theme really came to life. I had initially thought it would be the crowning glory of the room, not to be upstaged by anything else, however… When I discovered Photowall, I also discovered the most beautiful wallpaper which had all the same colours as the rug and it also had bees on it.

Of course it had to be for Posie’s room!

Gram and Daddy hung it on Saturday and we are just so, so pleased with it. You give the measurements in centimeters and allow yourself a bit of wiggle room either side and then the paper is printed in numbered sheets to make it easier for you to match up the pattern – they said this one took some time as the pattern is obviously quite intricate but that the paper was easy to use and such good quality – we also bought one of their reasonable wallpapering kits to assist us in the decorating and it was a good choice to do so. The paper itself comes with all the wallpaper paste you need and then the kit has everything else, at just £16 it was a wise buy and proved very helpful with quality tools needed to make the job as easy as possible.

You can choose standard or premium paper which is what I went for as it’s wipe clean and I thought for a bedroom which will be played in this was the best option and it was only a fraction more expensive. Price wise it isn’t the cheapest but you get what you pay for and at £252 for the wall it’s an artistic investment. I think it’s beautiful and there are so many stunning wall papers to choose from. I found it hard choosing between this one (Budgies off white) and another with lots of hanging flowers at the top. In the end I had to go with the colours in this one as they matched so beautifully to the rug in the room! You can also have your own photographs made into wall paper which is quite something isn’t it, the choices are limitless!

Talking of photos, while I was ordering the wall paper I also ordered some custom prints onto canvas of my family to add to my own photo wall! I have a stairway up to my loft which I’m filling with pictures and these prints are going to look great added to them. They, like the wall paper, are excellent quality and actually, I gasped when I opened them. It took less than a week from ordering to arrival and it was so easy making the order for them on the Photowall site. Hand on heart, when in the past I’ve used companies to order similar I’ve found placing the pictures and sizing them has been a bit taxing but absolutely not so with Photowall. This literally took minutes and I had all the pictures I wanted, orederd and on their way. I chose an up to date one of each of the children having fun this summer, a couple of them all together, and one of our whole family, including Gram! I adore them all!

What fantastic additions to our home and I would highly recommend the services of Photowall from the easy ordering to the up to date information on delivery with their quality as a given in between! It’s a massive thumbs up from us!
