Popsa – The Easiest Way To Print Your Memories!
I love to take photographs, I quite literally take hundreds filling up Facebook albums and my cloud as I go. I rarely, however, print them out. occasionally I’ll do some on magnets or I’ll get a few prints for something specific but choosing which ones (from the many) and collating them I find such a bind. I tend to put it off till Christmas when I traditionally will print my Mum off a calendar with the children and at the same time will get something to put on the wall. Again though, the process never feels easy and it’s something I tend to take a day out of my schedule for because it always seems to take over. From finding all the ones I want to add, downloading them and uploading them, to formatting everything into a website that’s supposed to be easy. Occasionally I’ve found some sites better than others but it does usually take TIME! So, very happy to report that Popsa is actually the fastest I have ever completed this take, it took me only about an hour (I mean, seriously, this feels like a weight off) and my two calendars plus a few tiles to pop on the wall came in super quick time!
You can do it from your phone after downloading the app and then the service is pretty easy and self-explanatory. I found it incredibly easy and my only problem was that I really wanted to do a photobook but it couldn’t accept the amount of pictures I wanted to upload. Not many photo companies will accept the volume I always want to add (not without charging an arm and a leg if they do usually) so this wasn’t a surprise and instead I chose to print some of their photo tiles which don’t need anything to hang them other than the peel of a sticky label on the back. I wait forever for Jonny to put up pictures (I have no DIY skills) so this is always an option I’m keen on. The photo tiles are exactly as I wanted them to be and will go with some others that we already have. I like them a lot and think they’d make a great gift but they do also have other products which work in the gifting niche like photo boxes (sweet way to be able to pull out a picture every now and then and can think of a hundred different ways to make these even more special with little messages you could write on the back of each one perhaps?!), photo books (of course, and if you aren’t looking to upload 800 like me), Christmas ornaments or perhaps just some prints. And then don’t forget they do calendars too!
This is what I was really there for. You can choose from large landscape or portrait (I would have liked to have seen a desktop calendar on offer too which is a shame) and then two different size options alongside matte or gloss paper. I chose matte and with hindsight think they would have been sharper if I’d chosen gloss but the pictures sit nicely, there’s not too much editing in shapes and sizing like you get on some sites and the calendars came as quickly as the tiles, within a few days!
There’s certainly some things Popsa could add to their repertoire but I found them to be easy to use with a fast turnaround and they get a thumbs up from me!
