The children have been waiting a long time for a garden to play in and now that we have one I want to make it a lovely place for them to be. They asked and asked for a swing and I just thought, oh why not! They’ve waited so long that they shouldn’t have to wait any longer and though I know it’s not actually a birthday or anything I thought a special treat was on the cards; so we ordered the Roma Double Swing by Little Tikes. Had to be a double or there’d be arguments!
I love Little Tikes outdoor equipment in general because it’s always lasted us so long. We have a picnic table and a slide at my Mum’s house as well as various other garden toys. All of them are plastic which is great as it honestly never wears out but I didn’t really want a plastic swing. A swing, a double one no less, could be quite imposing in the garden and I wanted to make sure we had something which would blend in well so the Roma set was perfect with its wooden structure.
It comes with two durable (and plastic so long lasting) Little Tikes swing seats attached to their ropes, an anchor kit and everthing else you need to put this swing up in the garden. It was a little bit daunting when it arrived as the poles looked so long on the ground but once up and at an angle they really didn’t feel quite so scary. Jonny and I managed to put it up in an hour (anchoring takes more time as concrete is involved) and the children are absolutely thrilled with it!
The wood is solid and treated so will last a very long time, for me that’s the stamp of a Little Tikes product and the metal parts are powder coated. The children think this is utterly brilliant and are loving their own double swing in the garden! At £139.99 I think this set is a very good price indeed and we’re all extrmemely pleased with it!
I think that Little Tikes is a brand parents can rely on. From the delivery where I was given a 2 hour slot to the actual product, assembly instructions and after care that I have received with other things I have bought, I couldn’t fault them! No wonder they’ve been going so strong for so many years as I am sure they will be doing more of going forwards! Bravo Little Tikes, your products are ace and you’ve just made two little swingers very happy!

We’ve had the exact same swing for 2 years and same, as it is wooden it really compliments the garden. In good weather Aaron goes on it every day. It’s a God send. I wouldn’t be without it. xx
