I love the fact that you can get all you need for any sort of party just in the supermarkets these days!
There’s really no need to shop around or spend ages doing it because you can guarantee the best prices and quality all under one roof – it certainly takes a lot of hassle away from things!
Take Easter for example; we go all out for it because Florence just loves it all and i love to see her faces! We play games, do egg hunts and have a big family meal too! We can get the food, chocolate, presents (I like a couple of those too) and decorations when we do our weekly shop! I was super impressed with what Sainsbury’s had to offer for Easter when I went to see their Spring Summer collection that they asked if I’d like to review some of the items and of course, I simply had to agree!
I like Sainsbury’s for lots of reasons. I LOVE the children’s clothes which are very well made, wash well and are often discounted with a 25% off (I always wait for these events as they are so frequent and it really makes a difference)! The food is something really special too, I’ve talked before of my love for their BBQ range in particular. I am super impressed with gifts and other Easter bits at the moment and this is what we’ve liked reviewing!
They have everything you need for a choc-tastic Easter egg hunt including fabulous metal tin buckets for collecting and the brilliant tub of chocolate eggs, with spoons and a winner’s ribbon for an egg and spoon race! I LOVE that!
Florence, Jimmy and their friend Daisy who belongs to Katy enjoying the easter egg fun and games!
Of course Easter wouldn’t be Easter without a big egg or two, or three or four… These are Sainsbury’s own brand Easter eggs with their cute characters and the chocolate is delicious! (Love the chick decorations which of course are also picked up in Sainsbury’s)!
And for something traditional, everyone loves a hot cross bun on Easter Sunday morning (or as we are enjoying in the run up to…)! Note the cute toys which will make great treasure hunt prizes at the end of the hunt!
I mentioned I like an Easter pressie didn’t I! Well these would be my Sainsbury’s picks for me! My Mum makes amazing cakes and I want to learn but let’s just say my Mum and I are not totally ‘teacher/pupil’ compatible (I get very annoyed and grumpy when she teaches me)! This step by step book is ace and will hopefully get me through making a rocket cake for Jimmy’s birthday! I am of course leaving the party day cake to my Mum but I’d like to try one for his actual birthday myself and he loves a rocket! When it comes to the bottle of fizz… What can I say?! I love bubbles and I LOVE a mini bottle with a straw… Not sure why but I do and this ‘Taste The Difference’ one is delish!
The book is so fab, it really does take you step by step through cake decorating and I will report back if my rocket cake comes out ok!
And then there’s the little Easter holiday treats! We are in England obviously and the weather can be great at this time of year but it can and is more often than not, rubbish! Florence LOVES to craft and the inexpensive craft packs from Sainsbury’s keeps her busy for hours! She really enjoyed this crown making kit and made one for her and one for her teacher!
So… That’s my Easter sorted! Love Sainsbury’s!
I was sent some products in return for an honest review.
