Today is the last day of term for Florence and we have lots of lovely summery days to fill coming up! Obviously Daddy will be working for lots of it so it will be just me and the children and with lots of the play groups we usually attend also shutting for the summer it lies with me to find things we can do to make the summer fun! London is fabulous and we’ll be visiting all our favourite places but I want to take them out of London too. Maybe to the beach and to visit some fun attractions. The thing is, I don’t drive myself so we really need things which are easy to access of public transport.
We love Willows Farm in Hertfordshire which you can get to, all the way, by tube and bus would you believe! We’ve only ever gone with Daddy in the car before but I love that I could take them on public transport and it totally makes it an option for us. We’ve been for their Easter and Christmas spectacular before and had such a fabulous time! Now they have launched their summer spectacular too! We’d love to go so I’m definitely putting it on my list!
A-maize-ing fun all summer long at Willows Farm Village
Summer Spectacular 20th July – 1st September 2013
Even the animals at Willows want to join in the A-maize-ing Maze this summer! With the recent opening of their fancy new home at the Farm Village, some silly sheep and goofy goats explored the Farm Village during the ‘moo-ving’ in process and ended up lost in the maize maze.
It’s now up to the children visiting during Summer Spectacular to help Farmers Andrew and Anna to find them!
Tracking down the animals in the twists, turns and dead ends of the A-maize-ing Maze will be no mean feat. It’s grown entirely from maize seeds, covers four acres and is expected to be more than six feet tall by the height of summer! Little ones who succeed in finding all eight of the lost animal cut-outs will be awarded a special certificate.
In addition to the A-maize-ing Maze, there will also be the usual jam-packed programme of spectacular family summer fun including; panning for gold, fairground rides, indoor & outdoor adventure play, farmyard animals and much, much more.
