Win A coleman Octagon 8 Tent!

This weekend for Jimmy’s lockdown birthday with an army theme we pitched our latest Coleman Tent in the garden and built an army base camp. It was great timing as we’d planned this already then found out that Jimmy and Florence both had been invited to join in with their beaver and cub groups for a remote camp in the garden with Zoom sing-a-longs around the camp fire! We might not be able to go out and visit new places for camping away from home right now but we sure can pitch up in the garden and have JUST as much fun as we found out! The kiddos loved it and we highly recommend it for some camping fun! Fancy it? Well why not enter my competition to win a Coleman Octagon Blue 8 man tent which will give you a 360 degree view of your garden today but take you to festivals and beyond tomorrow!

We have the Octago which is the little 3 man sister to the Octagon 8 which yiu coukd win but no less brilliant! We decorated the inside with fairy lights for a festival vibe – this was Florence on the top bunk of our camping bunks made by Kid-o-bunk sitting under the amazing roof of the one bedroom Octagon shaped tent. It’s VERY cool!
The outside we decorated with more fairy lights, bunting and an army style throw as Jimmy had an army theme to his hirthday this year!
The big camp out in the garden which the big kids were SUPER excited for!

We sent them off with their bags packed full of midnight feasts and warm clothing (as well as their iPads to communicate with the other beavers and cubs) amd after a bit of sausages over the fire pit and smores they went off to bed SUPER happy and feeling very grown up!

What fun!

I am a firm believer in making the best of this situation. It’s a bit rubbish at times but ny word Florence and Jimmy had fun at home for Jimmy’s birthday and camping out truly made the day! All it takes is a super easy to put up tent, some snacks and sleeping bags and they will think you are a hero!

You could even do some really wild camping with just a tree tent, ever thought of that for shelter? They look mega cool for perhaps the most Bear Grylls adventurous types of us so check them out here: https://www.globosurfer.com/best-tree-tents/

They loved it and it was SO easy!
Never seen my kiddos so keen to get to bed, this was about half past 4!
Of course that didn’t mean they went to sleep early!

So… Fancy a camping at home experience like us and want to win the Octagon Blue 8 man tent from Coleman? Course you do and all you have to do is enter clicking on the Rafflecopter widget below! Good luck fellow campers at home!

We’ve never taken our daughter camping as I broke my tent at a festival before she was born, but we’d love to go take it to the Norfolk coast to see family or use it as a base to explore the welsh coastline of Pembrokeshire. To be honest, anywhere outside the m25 is appealing! And to stay in the UK as we want to holiday more with family but grandparents are 69+
