Winter Wonderland Norwich 2025!

It’s back, FREE to get into for the 2025 festive season, and better than ever we would say! Winter Wonderland Norwich has well and truly landed Father Christmas’s sleigh, with an incredibly festive bauble on top this year, and the fun doesn’t stop until January the 4th!

Day and night the entertainment will be abundant in the Alpine Lodge so you have somewhere to relax and soak up the live music, as you get cosy before hitting the rides (there are plenty for all age ranges), taking a whirl on the observation wheel, finding your way out of the Christmas tree maze, taking a visit to Santa’s Grotto, and, of course, enjoying the fantastic ice rink with real ice, which welcomes both beginners (you can hire penguins to hold onto, or seals to sit and steady yourself), right through to ice professionals.

And it doesn’t end there, the heady mix of Christmas markets and street food vendors will have you feeling like you’re in Bruges rather than The Norfolk Showground so if it’s Christmas fun and vibes you’re after, Winter Wonderland Norwich has you sorted!
There’s plenty to do for teens searching for an independent escape, in a very safe environment where ride tokens can either be charged to a card, or unlimited wrist bands can be bought, and yet, for tiny tots, they will also be in their element. Date nights, fun with friends, family festivities and more, Winter Wonderland has really impressed us this year and we want to go back for more!

And the food is also pretty decent, and not bank breaking either! We tried a selection and loved the Greek Souvlaki, as well as the giant Yorkshire wraps. All in, this is a fantastic day out which a spectator can enjoy for a fancy free entry price and by picking and choosing you can build your day to suit your wallet. The ice skating was our absolute favourite part of the visit – we had to drag the children off the ice, they didn’t want to leave!

Winter Wonderland Norwich are doing things just right this year and we LOVED out visit!
