Zip-Through Towelling Hoodie From Boden!

We spend a lot of time on the beach in North Norfolk and I’ve always found a towelling hoodie to be the perfect slip-on for the kiddos at the end of a sandy day in the sun and surf. The big kids were gifted, many moons ago, two different ones from Little Bird By Jools, a green one and a red and white. I loved them matchy matching in them and they lasted so well that the little two inherited them and they’ve stayed in good enough condition to be used year after year. I always order big so they’ve lasted size wise as well as quality!

Look at that selection of the big duo when they were little, and our little duo, all rocking the same towelling hoodies from Little Bird By Jools Oliver – Can you tell who’s who?!
The red ones will still fit for this summer, and I’m going to squeeze the littles into the green ones again but truth be told, they are getting on the small side now and because I LOVE them matching and definitely need two sets I I looked at Little Bird for something similar. They are now stocked in Next, but sadly, nothing really fit the bill. They do have a rainbow (their signature) towelling poncho in stripes and also in wiggles, but I wanted something with arms, for windy afternoons and going home at the end of the day. I looked and looked and then I found the Zip-Through Towelling Hoodie from Mini Boden (£29-£35) which I fell in love with!

The Multi Hotchpotch Stripe is VERY Little Bird Rainbows and I just had to have it! In real life it’s super gorgeous and fits exactly the bill I wanted. I love that this one has a zip and can be worn open or closed and it’s lovely and soft! Brightly coloured so I’ll see them easily on the beach, super comfortable and oh let’s just call a spade a spade, it’s totally fits the aesthetic of Southwold and Cromer, my two favourite haunts!

I bought them when they had 25% off so saved a big chunk but I do genuinely think they are worth the money. I’ve bought them in 2 sizes to big for each of the children so that they’ll last and my only sadness is that although they make them big enough for Jimmy (he’s 13), he wouldn’t indulge me and wear one too. Ho hum!

Aren’t they just gorgeous?!
