Other People’s Children!

Posted in Uncategorized

While at the Science Museum this week a big ten year old (ish) boy pushed Florence out of the way really hard. She was quite upset and he just laughed so… Without thinking I said ‘OY! Push my little girl again and I’ll push you!’ He looked at me with such defiance and I thought, goodness, not all children are sweet! Perhaps I shouldn’t have spoken to him like that but my word he annoyed me and when I gave […]

They have some really exciting things coming up like ‘Charlie and Lola’ and also some very interesting projects for babies under 1 which we want to squeeee […]

Lazy Town – Series 3 Is About To Hit Cartoonito!

Posted in Uncategorized

The first time Florence was introduced to Lazy Town was when we saw Robbie Rotten playing the baddy in a live show! We booed and hissed our way through and cheered as Sportacus and Stephanie helped save the day! We thoroughly enjoy the show too and are super excited that we have got to see some of the episodes for the new series before anyone else! We were very lucky to have been invited to the launch party for the […]

Bird’s Nest Soup – Messy Play For Matilda Mae!

Posted in Uncategorized

I’m not generally very eager to bring messy play into the house knowing that I’d have to clear it up and it might get on the carpet! I usually save it for in the garden at my Mum’s or because we have excellent Surestart centres near us, that have activities daily, it always seems easier to let Florence and Jimmy get REALLY messy there rather than at home. I know how lazy that is of me so things are about […]

I Asked My Mother, What Will I Be!

Posted in Uncategorized

I’m sure like all Mothers, I just want my children to be happy when they grow up. I hope that whatever they choose to do for a living makes them feel satisfied and fulfilled unlike I have done in some times gone by. When I worked in admin I used to cry on my way into work, I trained as an actress and working in an office was soul destroying for me! I don’t want that to be their story! […]

An Easter Eggstravaganza at Willows Farm!

Posted in Uncategorized

When we first visited Willows Farm Village in St Albans it was for their Easter Eggstravaganza last year. We had, quite simply, a fantastic time! I have written about it since in many posts and always had fabby things to say because, well, the farm is just fabby in general really! We went back for Christmas, which we loved too but what we’ve really been waiting for is the Easter Eggstravaganza again! I’ve raved and raved about it to all […]

WIN A Holiday With Haven!

Posted in Uncategorized

We in the Rocknrollerbaby household are off to Haven this year – for a little summer stay-cation! We’re all off to Poole in Dorset and my Mum’s coming too! I so can’t wait and am keeping my fingers crossed that by then it will be at least warm enough to not have to wear a coat! I’ve never been to Haven before but with the current financial climate stay-cations are all the rage and it seems to be Haven that everyone […]
