BeWILDerwood 2025!

BeWILDerwood 2025!

I’m sure we HAVE had some negative experiences at BeWILDerwood in the last 15 years since we started visiting with a baby Florence, but I’m struggling to remember a time when we’ve come home feeling annoyed. I found it irksome that they cashed in on the Glorious Glowing lantern Parade after covid and made it a stand alone ticket on top of the day ticket but aside form that, I can’t think of anything I don’t like!

I love that it’s a day outside in fresh air, although you always feel sheltered. I adore that they recognise everything being included has to be EVERYTHING, even face painting when it’s on offer. The fact that there are little areas for smaller children, to match bigger areas, like baby zip wires next to the more advanced ones, is perfection. And frankly, the whole place stinks of magic! Florence always talks about the time we left and she found a fairy jar of magical glitter in her pocket – I mean I don’t known how that got there without it being a Boggle or a Twiggle who transferred it but hey, what would I know?!

Here’s a selection of some of our favourite fun at BeWILDerwood over the years!

And it is just magical isn’t it… There’s no two ways about it that the stories written by owner Tom Blofeld, brought to life in the pask in the play, the craft, the Boggle houses on the ground by the water and the Twiggle houses in the trees, it just feed this element of fairy tale to the day making it quite unlike anywhere else.

Simply put, we love it!

We used to be annual pass holders, maybe it’s time to do that again… Jimmy was even on the leaflet for a few years running with this picture I took of him at BeWILDerwood!

And this half term we went for an updated visit as it was Buy One Get One Free and felt like it would have been rude not to… We did EVERYTHING! a show, den building, Sky maze and the other maze on the other side. The Treetops Tangle, Toddlewood, ALL the slides and zip lines, crafting and lots of little bits of play along the way. SUCH a great day out. Even the food is worth having at BeWILDerwood because it’s DELICIOUS and affordable. The giant bangers are £5.75 and worth every penny (sadly my little two prefer a weaner so I took them with us instead this visit, but anybody else comes with me ordinarily for a visit to BeWILDerwood and it’s bangers for them and me)!

So we loved it… A little update from us is that BEWILDerwood is STILL great in 2025 and we will, of course, be back! Especially as I saw advertised their pre-school ticket is back for the summer. A little more expensive than last year at £12.50 for a grown up and a 3 and under (I mean, why 3 and under I don’t know because pre-school is pre-school and everyone will just lie and say 3 and under) but still most excellent value. Even if you’re 4 and have to pretend to be 3! And maybe we will just get an annual pass anyway, they’re £75 for anyone over 105cm, £65 for those between 92cm and 105cm (under 92cm are FREE) and if you’re a concession, a pass costs £45 . I’m not sure they’re AS good value as say the Roarr! pass because they do close for some of the year, but, it’s a pretty decent price and I like to know we can go whenever we please!

Here’s what we got up to on our latest visit last week!
