A Dinesy’s Frozen Sky Remote Control!

Posted in Uncategorized

When we were invited to the UK premiere of ‘Frozen’ (I know, how lucky?!) I never envisaged the ‘Frozen’ fever that would grip our household in such a strong way. You expect to like a Disney film sure but with ‘Frozen’, well, it’s almost hysterical with little girls isn’t it (in fact, one of my grown up friends might even be as fond of it as Florence if I’m honest). Since the film came out we have seen it 5 […]

Hello Kitty Glitter Puzzle!

Posted in Uncategorized

Both Florence and Jimmy love to do puzzles although their needs are completely different. Jimmy is just moving from basic puzzles into something a little more clever with around 10-15 pieces (I think he’s actually doing really well for under 3) and Florence likes something a little more challenging with around 50 or 60 pieces. They also like to have completely different pictures to make up being very stereotypical in their choices. Florence likes girly and glitzy while Jimmy just […]

Orbeez Hand Spa!

Posted in Uncategorized

Florence is a real girlie girl, just like her Mummy and as soon as there is make up about she’s in it quick smart! She’s always liked to just rummage through my collection (extensive) and ask me ‘what’s this?’ or ‘how do you use that’? and she gets very excited if I say she can have a little bit on too. She also thinks it’s pretty brilliant if I let her put make up on me or do my hair. […]

Bella Italia’s New Kid’s Menu!

Posted in Uncategorized

We’ve been to Bella Italia quite a few times now and on every visit have come away feeling really pleased we went, like we got good value for money and most importantly, that the children were well occupied as well as being fed something they really enjoyed. We went to review their new breakfast menu a while back, just Jimmy and I, and found it to be brilliant and then just before Christmas Katy from ModernMummy, her brood and mine, […]

A Perfect Night’s Sleep!

Posted in Uncategorized

A few weeks ago I received an unexpected delivery of a silver box filled with lovely things to help me sleep. A gorgeous eye mask and some comfy bed socks, a HUGE jar of Neal’s yard lavender bath salts, some sleepy time hot chocolate and a relaxing candle. The box came with a note telling me that it was from some sleep angels and they wished me a good night’s sleep. The note also told me I would receive another […]

The Worst Children’s Film EVER!

Posted in Uncategorized

Yesterday I took the children to the Kids AM screening at the Vue Cinema near to us. I usually love this session (which starts at around 9.30am) as it costs just £1.75 per person (adult OR child) and they even do a Kids AM special popcorn combo which is not too badly priced either. For £2.20 you get a popcorn and a drink or for £2.75 they add an Oreo or a Milky Way; it’s literally the ONLY time I’d […]

Rockin’ Baby Sling!

Posted in Uncategorized

I love baby wearing and carried Florence in a variety of slings from the day after she was born. Her very first outing was to the shops in a Close baby carrier which looks a bit like a wrap around and is soft material. I loved it although it only really took her to about a year old. It would be much younger if you have a heavy child. I actually have found quite a few slings that are brilliant over […]

The Grand National is racing in the extreme

Posted in Uncategorized

by Paolo Camera In January 2015 two US climbers became the first to scale the world’s toughest mountain. They free-climbed the tortuous Dawn Wall of El Capitan in Yosemite National Park; 900 metres of sheer granite rock rising almost vertically into the sky. As extreme sports go, free climbing is quite clearly up there. Adventure seekers are prepared to travel the world to take part in some of the most daring past times imaginable. Hop on a flight to Malaysia […]

Learning To Drive With 5 Day!

Posted in Uncategorized

Last week I wrote a post about the fact I was about to embark upon a 5 day intensive driving course with 5day.co.uk. I had lots of reasons, none of them very solid, as to why it took me to the age of 35 to take the plunge into the driving pool but the time suddenly became right for me and I took the bull by the horn and went for it! Learning to drive in 5 days is a […]
