A few months ago I took Florence to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in the West End. She loved it! Loved the story (which we read before we went), loved the music and of course, loved the magic of the theatre!

Going to the theatre is something very special to do with children and I love to take mine. Acting and the theatre have always been a big part of my life and sharing this wonderful passion with them is very important to me. Theatre, along with reading, is a door opening to a world of imagination and as far as I’m concerned that’s something every child needs!

Of course going to the West End is a little bit more special still and although Florence has been to quite a few things now and is a rather seasoned theatre goer at the age of 4, Charlie and the Chocolate factory would be my ideal recommendation for an introduction into the west End!

  14. A) Theatre Royal Drury lane-
    i went to see this last month,as my wonderful step-daughter bought my husband and i tickets as a belated birthday present-it was spectacular-a truly brilliant show,the oompa loompa’s were incredible-would definitely recommend to anyone-young and old 🙂 x
