Duxford Air Show!

I wrote about the Duxford Airshows ahead of the events this year and after we tried one out for ourselves I posted to my Instagram page but I realised I didn’t ever put anything post visit on the blog and we had such a great time I wanted to show you! Check out my Insta reel here:

It was such a great day out which we all enjoyed and we went en masse from age 1 to Gram! With something for everyone including free fair ground rides for the kids, dramatic air displays and, if you had the time (we did not) a look around the museum and hangers too, it was a very inclusive family day out which we would absolutely do again!

The flying season has been announced for next year and it looks set to be just as much fun when it returns in June 2023. I loved the relaxed atmosphere and the all inclusive variety of not having to pay for rides once in. We pitched up a spot with our picnic and our chairs to use as a base and then we hot footed it from park to fair ground rides to watching the displays back at base. We’d have LOVED to have had another day to see the museum and look around the hangers but there’s the excuse to go back on a non flying day!

Highly recommend for a great family day out!
