FabriFotos By Stickers4Walls – Making My Stairwell Sing!

I have been adding to the photo wall in my house for so long now that it feels like a living scrapbook, one that grows with us and changes as the children do. The stairwell up to my loft bedroom is the heart of it all, a tall sweep of wall that runs from the floor right up to the ceiling and winds around with the stairs, so that I see them all every night as I climb to bed.
It is already filled with prints and canvases and framed photographs and even tiles, all mismatched and all loved. But recently I found something new to add to the collection and it has become one of my favourite discoveries. FabriFotos from Stickers4Walls.

FabriFotos are fabric wall stickers made from your own photographs, and they are absolutely gorgeous! I chose the square shape with rounded corners because it felt soft and modern, but there are lots of shapes to choose from depending on your style. You can even pick a photo poster designed to look like an Instagram grid which is such a fun way to bring that familiar feed into real life. When mine arrived I was struck immediately by how lovely they feel. They are textured ever so slightly and tactile, almost like tiny pieces of fabric art, yet once they are on the wall they sit completely flush. They look like prints rather than stickers which is part of their charm, especially as my photograph quality probably wasn’t the best resolution, you’d never know!

Prices start at eighteen pounds for three FabriFotos from Stickers4Walls, which is brilliant considering the quality. And like I said, the photographs I sent in were not the highest resolution. Some were quick snaps taken on the go, others had been through an app to edit them and crop but this lowers the resolution more; I half expected them to come out a little fuzzy. Instead they arrived vibrant and clear and far better than I imagined. The colours are bright, the details crisp, and they blend beautifully with everything else I already have on the wall. Not only that but they become brighter and clearer once on the wall (this could be just my eyes but looking at them on their sticker sheets, though they look impressive, they somehow manage to get even better once on the wall)!

The thing that impressed me most though, is how easy they are to work with. I had carefully marked out where I wanted mine to go on my big stairwell wall (prior to this, the area had previously been empty unlike the walls surrounding it), but of course I got it wrong. More than once. I stuck one on, stepped back, realised it was slightly off, and so I just peeled it away again. Then I did it again. And again. Each time it came away perfectly with no stretching or damage and each time it went back on as if it had never been moved. They are genuinely repositionable which means you can play around until you get the layout exactly right without worrying about ruining them or your paintwork (you are advised to not add to fresh paint so I touched my wall up a couple of weeks beforehand and absolutely no damage could be seen).

Putting them up could not be simpler. You peel them off, place them where you want them, and give the lightest smooth over with your hand. That is all it takes. No bubbles, no creases, no fuss. They behave beautifully and look flawless once they are in place.

Most of mine now live together on that tall stairwell wall, adding to the collage of memories I have been building for years. But I could not resist placing a couple on another wall too, just to weave them into the wider story of our home. They sit happily among the canvases and frames and tiles, adding texture and personality without competing for attention. They are simply another way to hold on to the moments that matter.

Every night when I go up to my bedroom I see them. All those faces and places and tiny slices of life. The FabriFotos fit right in and I love them. They are the perfect way to store memories and the easiest way to keep adding more.
Collaboration.
