Freak Du Chic – Monster High Review!

This entry was posted in Uncategorized.

We’ve long been fans of the Monster High doll range by Mattel and over time, as we’ve collected more and more, we’ve become very familiar with all the characters. There’s the original ghouls like ‘Draculaura’ (our favourite), Ghouls, Fright-Mares… Even Mansters (we really want a Manster) and they all kind of mix in with other ranges. Recently we’ve discovered the Freak Du Chic range of Monster High pals!

The Freak Du Chic circus has arrived to Monster High and each character peforms a circus related stunt or activity. Rochelle is a mime, Frankie an illusionist, Clawdeen is a lion tamer, Toralei is a tightrope walker, Jinafire preforms as a flame eater, Twyla does the show when walking on stilts and Honey is a mysterious marionette. Each of the dolls comes with an accesory related to their piece of the show, from top hat and wands to a tiny parasol, as well as over-the-top circus inspired outfits!

We were sent Jinafire Long, the daughter of a Chinese Dragon, who comes with green fire (which can be removed) coming out of her mouth as well as a fan. She has a tail and a great pair of boots!

Of course Florence couldn’t wait to get her out of the box and start playing with her. She loves her hair which is green and pink and has a thick fringe which makes her just a little different!

Florence likes her jewellery of a crown and a necklace!

Her clothes are easy to take on and off made even smoother by the fact her tail is removable and Florence has been having great fun playing with her. She doesn’t come with a hair brush which is somethig we always notice as we think dolls like this should come with one when they have such pretty hair to play with but luckily, we have a few in the toy box. A great new addition to our colletion!

I think Florence is pleased!

We were sent the doll fr the purpose of an honest review.
