Halloween Half Term 2018!

First of all it doesn’t seem right that half term is over because it all happened too quickly and secondly, it’s not even Halloween yet so I’m absolutely sure that by rights the kids should still be off… Alas, they went back today leaving me and the Raff feeling more than a little longing for their company and reflecting on a truly fab week off together. Well, a really it was 11 days as they had inset days to begin with and man we packed a lot in!

We went to Banham Zoo, Cromer (of course), shopping and mooching around Norwich, swimming (when don’t we?!), To the cinema, had two trips to London (one for The London Aquarium and The Science Museum and the other for a couple of press launch parties), a night in a hotel, a visit to Willows Farm, our annual BeWILDerwood must visit for the Glorious, Glowing Lantern Parade, a jaunt to Great Yarmouth with friends for the Time and Tide Museum, a play at Gressenhall, family time, lots of rehearsals for Florence and a trip to Norwich Castle Museum as well as looking in on the Science Fayre in Norwich – yes it was all just in eleven days and we even squeezed some pumpkin carving in! We had a brilliant time and are now on the Christmas countdown thank you very much!

Cromer in the winter might be my favourite time to visit!
Especially dressed up for Halloween! Love Raffie in this suit which used to be Jimmy’s!
They all loo pretty ace huh!
I’m trying to be in pictures more!
And get my Mum in on the act too!

Lots of food and treats – this was at Cocina in Norwich before a trip to the cinema!
Pumpkin carving!
I usually let them draw what they want on the pumpkin then I cut it out but we allowed them a little bit of heavily supervised knife action this time!
I think we are all pleased with our efforts!
