Knit One Turnbull – A Dancing Cardigan!

This entry was posted in Uncategorized.

At christmas and For Florence’s birthday my in-law’s gave her money towards her ballet and tap lessons. She was desperate to start and was totally thrilled with this as a present. To go with the classes she got things like the outfits and the shoes for each class and one of the lovely items my Mother-in-law picked up from a local Christmas market was a gorgeous hand-knitted ballet style wrap around cardigan from ‘Knit One Turnbull’. It’s perfect for Florence to dance in (although she actually wears it all the time because she loves it) and I only wish I had the skills to knit something so lovely myself!

Florence wears it for tap dancing!

Florence and I both really love it and she looks utterly beautiful wearing it for tap classes! ‘Knit One Turnbull’ don’t have a website but do update about their wonderful knits on their facebook page so I thought I would share about them and their lovely things. All their clothes and toys (which are TOO cute by the way) are hand-knitted and you’d be seriously surprised at the low prices they charge! My Mum’s a keen knitter herself and said she doesn’t understand how they can charge so little when the wool itself must cost nearly as much as they price their items for!

I just adore hand-knitted clothes for children, I like an old-fashioned look in general and there’s something really special if someone has actually made it rather than just picking something up in Primark… No one has asked me to write about Florence’s lovely cardy, I haven’t received any products or payment in return for writing a post, I just wanted to share about this little business because I adore Florence’s cardigan so much – I wish I had one myself!

When choosing how to have her face painted last week Florence was delighted that the face painter matched the colour of her butterfly to her new cardigan!
