On Tuesday night Littlewoods.com invited me to a pampering evening to celebrate Mother’s Day!
It was a lovely do and I got to spend a fab time with my friend Katy from Modern Mummy as we plotted a little fashion project! We both got to hang out with other splendid bloggers, Rachel from Confessions Of A Stay At Home Mum, Jess from New Mumblings and the brilliant new blogger Bonita from Mama’s VIB so it really was a bit of a party actually!
We had our nails done by Nails Inc, our hair was curled using Babyliss styling tools, we drank champagne cocktails and we got to browse the new collection of clothes for both adults and children! We even got to choose an item for ourselves and one from their children’s range too!
I chose a gorgeous tie dyed hippy number for Florence that she’s going to LOVE and for myself I couldn’t resist a beautiful maxi dress from the Myleene Klass designed range. I love it and can’t wait for it to come so that I can wear it and show everyone!
Myleene was even there to give some style tips and talk us through the new collection! She looked amazing in a beautiful red gown from her own collection and as she was in an Oscars style dress we asked her if she’d pose for an Oscars style selfie with us!

She also launched the Mum’s Got Talent campaign for Littlewoods. It’s a competition for Mums across the country to submit short videos of their hidden talents to celebrate that we are a nation of super mums! Participants are in with a chance of featuring on Littlewood.com’s special Mother’s Day advertising campaign and even a whole host of celebrities are involved and have entered their own mums; if you enter, you’re in good company!
On average research shows that mums carry out a whopping 19 jobs a day from chauffeur and chef to personal shopper and tutor! Mums have LOADS of talents so what’s yours? You can either enter yourself and why not? Or you could enter your own Mum and make a video on her behalf!

To take part as a Mum yourself or to vote for your own Mamma like I have done then all you have to do is make a short video demonstrating or describing your ‘Mum Talent’! There are a whole host of prizes to be won including 100 random prizes sent out on Mother’s Day to participants to make them feel really special! The overall winner will be chosen by Myleene and her Littlewoods.com fellow designer, Coleen Rooney and will bag herself a jam packed luxury London weekend as well as £250 to spend at Littlewoods.com!
