If you’re looking forward to the Lollibop Festival as much as I am then you will already be planning a very busy day indeed with masses on your agenda!
I am definitely planning on getting a moment of calm in the day too though, a smidgen of chill out amongst the mahem of fun! Just to, you know, relax and re-charge!
The new literacy area is going to be just perfect! Of course it’s not really going to be all that calm! This is the Lollibop Festival after all and the new ‘LolliBooks’ area will be full of fun packed activities all to do with reading!
Author talks and interactive puppet shows around well loved books like Peter Rabbit, Dennis the menace and Spot The Dog amongst others will keep children up to the age of ten very entertained! There’s even a ‘Lolli Library’! Ladybird books along with Puffin are presenting this new fun sounding area and we are definitely going to be making it a part of our day!
Have you booked to go yet? It’s a must in the summer calendar for us and I’m delighted to announce that Lollibop are kindly offering a Rock ‘n’ Roller Baby reader the chance to win a family ticket to the best children’s festival around! And this year they have partnered with Sparks Charity, the leading children’s medical research charity – a perfect partnership!
