Monster High Exchange

Florence is a big fan of Monster High and before Christmas one of the dolls was high on her present wishlist. I’m not really sure what exactly it is that attracts her (and all the other little girls of course) but then I guess as the grown up I’m not supposed to and what does it matter anyway, at the end of the day she adores them and that’s all that matters! She bought one of the Monster High DVDs with some of her Christmas present money and has watched it avidly ever since, as well as the webisodes on the Monster High website.

We were invited to a Monster High event last weekend to celebrate the DVD and Bluray release of the latest movie ‘Haunted’ but unfortunately we couldn’t make it. I’m sure we’ll catch up with the movie at some point soon though and Florence will be very pleased to see it. This week she’s watched the DVD she does have an awful lot of times because she’s had tonsillitis and her days have been spent curled up on the sofa watching tele and reading magazines!

Poor little Florence with tonsillitis cheered herself up with Monster High entertainment!

The webisodes on the website are also really good as there are loads of them and there are also games to play which Florence has found very entertaining. Some of the webisodes are about the Exchange students of which a new wave of dolls who have just been released. Mattel sent us a couple of the new exchange students dolls and when I gave Florence Lorna McNessie (daughter of the Loch Ness Monster) she was bowled over!

Lorna is blue with fins and victory rolls in her hair. She of course comes with a stand, brush, bag and passport as do all the dolls and we were also sent Marisol Coxi who is a cousin of Abbey Bominable and is the daughter of the South American Bigfoot. Both dolls are priced at £21.99.

Little details like the fins and her tail are really cute and she comes with a passport so you can find out all about her!

Florence was already a big Monster High fan but I think now she has met the new exchange students she’s an even bigger one! I think it must be brilliant fun thinking up all the new characters, who they are, where they’re from and what they like to do! Can’t wait to meet more of them!
