Prezzo Italian Kings Lynne!

Prezzo Italian, as Prezzo has recently re-branded to show their Italian roots in full Mediterranean glory, has just had a brilliantly cosmopolitan revamp in decor when it comes to their Kings Lynn branch and, with its lush new make-over, we were invited to come and sample some of the delights on offer in the much loved Italian eaterie.

We don’t have a Prezzo in Norwich (more’s the pity), but have visited in other parts of the country always with great success, so we were very excited to be dining at Prezzo Italian a bit closer to home than we realised we could.

We hot footed it for a day out over that side of Norfolk, hitting first the Sandringham estate where we paid to park for a couple of hours and play in their massive park, and then we headed for an early tea at Prezzo. I’d initially booked for the Saturday not realising the first game of the season clashed and of course, my boys cannot miss the football for anything. I’d thought it might be quite tricky to cancel and re-book but no problems were found through the website where I simply updated my booking to the following day and had an immediate email confirmation. Phew. No football was missed in the planning of this trip, and if you live in this house you will know, that’s the holy grail to life!

Welcoming in both service and ambience, the new look restaurant was very inviting and we chose to sit on the festooned terrace, so sunny was the afternoon. It felt like being in actual Italy!
As family friendly as it comes and with oh such gloriously delicious food, plus lots of offers making it a good choice for a family of 6. Big menus and little ones for differently aged children and such entertainment on the menu that they actually did stop asking for a wee (for half an hour) to do all of the things inviting them!

A vast amount to choose from and boy did we enjoy it! I even took advantage of the bottomless cocktails, well… Why not?! It felt like a holiday, it looked like a holiday, I was damned if I was treating it as anything but a holiday – thanks for having us guys (and special thanks to the waiter who ran after us to our car to give Posie’s Princess beads back that she’d left on the table)!

Take a look at all we enjoyed…
