Roarr Dinosaur Adventure – Summer 2019!

If you’ve not been to Roarr Dinosaur Adventure yet then summer is very definitely the time to visit! Lots of offers are about and if you’re members of Banham Zoo like we are then you will be afforded a whopping 50% off admission prices which are also all new and very affordable for this year!

We seem to be making a habit of visiting enough for me to be seriously thinking about adding this gorgeous place to our growing number of annual passes – when there’s something for every child in my family (and this place has that in buckets) it’s no wonder! Especially when you can now buy different packages to choose either an unlimited or variously numbered trips pass – what a great idea!

And this week is Dippy the Dinosaur’s birthday (until the 4th of August) so we took a trip down to Lenwade for some birthday celebrations with a Hawaiian themed party that everyone is invited to and we joined in the birthday games, entertainment, disco dancing (twice daily) and even got to see his Birthday Cake!

Roarr is perfect for all ages!

Also on Dippy’s agenda for summer to celebrate his big day and new for 2019 is the Woodland Trail which is full of his favourite things and some surprise people getting ready for his birthday party! As the park has been celebrating the birthday of their legendary mascot Dippy between July 29 and August 4. All guests (including us) are invited to celebrate Dippy’s Birthday Week with his ROARR-some party!

Florence and Rffie LOVED the show they put on which was like a kid’s disco at a holiday camp and the crowd just gathered and gathered – the guys running the disco really earned their money in the heat (especially Dippy) and I have to say that the lead guy was amazing! The kids loved him as he had so much energy. I hadn’t thought much about actually joining in with the party but I’m so glad we did!

In addition to all the birthday fun the summer at Roarr invites you to try out the Predator High Ropes (an exhilarating experience which boasts the world’s first parallel sky rails – and included in the ticket price)! As well as ALL the other attractions (of which there are MANY) including the much-loved Dinosaur Trail, Dinomite Indoor Play and Secret Animal Garden.

Predator High Ropes is awesome and totally scary (I was really shaking when I did it) and is included in the ticket price. This always amazes me as I’m sure other places would try to rip parents off with another ticket price but not Roarr – LOVE that it’s included and would totally eliminate me going somewhere else for this type of activity when we can go to Roarr and have everything on offer as well as this!

Other things we LOVE about the Dino park are the Splash Zone (we have even been in when it’s freezing weather – when I say ‘we’, I do mean the children and NOT me), the extensive play areas and the indoor play (although it was very warm weather yesterday and I could have given that a miss in favour of staying outside but not the children – they HAD to go in) as well as the fab Go-Karts!

The play areas are awesome and segmented up into ages so that there’s something for everyone. This is in a special under 7s bit!
Indoor play!
Go-Kart!
The Splash play is brilliant fun – especially in the summer!
Lots of the equipment is dino related of course!
I think his feet say all you need to know about how much fun they’ve been having!

Roarr is open for the summer with high season on line prices of £56 for a family of four which gives you a 17.5% discount on paying on the door!

We were invited to review the summer programme at Roarr as guests of the park.
