Summer Holiday Diary – Week One!

We kicked off the holidays with an awesome day at Gorleston beach with Feed Felix Fast, Cookie crumbles and Mumma Shine. The sun shone and shone and shone and it was nearly 7 before we left. Oh it was glorious and the perfect way to start the summer holiday fun. We also went to Waterloo Park, saw ‘A Mid Summer Night’s Nap’ at the theatre, visited the races where we got to spend the day with my lovely friend Mummy Matters as well as best pals from London who had come and stay. I also helped to run an event at Norwich Castle which was awesome, we visited Pensthorpe Nature Reserve and the big kids got to see Horrible Histories at the cinema while raffie had some Gymboree time. Oh, and of course there was swimming! Now… On to week two!

Gorleston baby!
It’s a tremendous stretch of sand! like being in the med on a gorgeous day like today!
And there’s a splash pad which is awesome!
And it’s great but to make it even greater it’s FREE!
The sea is pukka on a nice day!
And being with friends puts the cherry on the top!
My little sun bather!
Who the next day got uo and came downstairs like this! Looking like she was off to Coachella and about 23 years old!
Jimmy still wants to be little though – digs big holes wherever there’s sand be it at the beach or here at Waterloo Park!
Where there is also a splash pad!
More picnics were had!
And swings which make the boys faces go like this!
And like this!
Then we hit the theatre which was awesome!
The whole gang of kiddos at Newmarket Races!
I met my friend Lucy at a Sure Start baby group when Florence was 5 weeks old and though we no longer live in the same place we are still the best of friends!
As are our kids!
Little Vikings in the selfie area at Norwich Castle!
A family day out at Pensthorpe!
