Skinstation Luxury Skincare – Dr Barbara Sturm The Good C Vitamin C Serum!
I’ve not got too many issues with spots on my skin these days, just the odd hormonal one now and again, which I can handle. The thing that worries me these days is blooming ageing!
When did we go from worrying about acne to wrinkles I wonder? I don’t know but I’m there, and though I don’t think my skin is that bad really, I do want to keep it that way. I’ve noticed more lines recently than I’ve had before and without anything too invasive I’d like to keep on top of it. I always cleanse, tone and moisturise and have done for years. I have regularly used Arden’s 8 hour cream mixed in with my moisturiser and I do think that has helped but moving things along a bit I’ve been wanting to try something a little more pin pointed to the area.
I have not wanted to go down the plastic surgery route, even with something like Botox which us fairly low level. I like the idea of it in principle but the upkeep seems immense and I find it a struggle to get my roots dine regularly so staying on top of an extensive skincare appointment is probably something I would fail at. So it’s growing old gracefully for me with easy, at home solutions to assisting my skin to look its best. I’ve recently been trialing the Dr Barbara The Good C Vitamin C Serum whuch can be bought from Skinstation, the luxury skincare company who allow you to buy high end skincare at competitive prices. I’ve so far found the serum to be helpful and I like what I’ve discovered about this pipet serum that I can apply myself at home rather than remember to make an appointment for treatment.
Skinstation have over 60 years combined experience un dermatology and cosmetic medicine and are able to assist you while you browse and did the right product for your skin at the best price for your purse. I was advised for my skin type to try the Dr Barbara Serum which is gentle and doesn’t feel like I’m wearing anything extra but definitely has made a difference to my skin. Shortly after I began to use the Serum I got a bad cold, sinusitis and the weather changed meaning my heating had to ramp up. All of these rings individually detrimentally affect my skin, combined and I expected it to be off the scale. But it wasn’t. And I hold the serum responsible thank you very much!
They say: Dr. Barbara Sturm’s THE GOOD C VITAMIN C SERUM contains 5% Vitamin C in a stabilised form that is quickly absorbed, safe and gentle on the skin.
I say: It is easy to apply and one pipet goes an awfully long way, I was concerned about the price being so high for skincare (compared to what I’d usually pay) at £91.67 (a saving in the RRP of £110) but though it is expensive, I think it will last a long time when only using such a tiny amount to cover my whole face.
They say: Dr. Barbara Sturm’s Vitamin C Complex contains three skin-friendly forms of Vitamin C; oil-soluble Vitamin C THD, synthetic Vitamin C in glucosidic form plus Kakadu Plum extract, a potent source of plant- based Vitamin C. This Vitamin C complex supports healthy collagen production, helping to improve uneven pigmentation, uneven skin tone and provides anti-oxidative protection resulting in a youthful and healthy-looking complexion.
I say: After application you wait a minute until dry before continuing with skincare routine and make up, it instantly makes my skin feel smooth but it also looks and feels hydrated, even in the height of a cold when my lips succumbed to being dry and chapped and ordinarily my skin would have followed suit.
