Summer/Trinity Term 2026!

This was the big one for Florence, GCSEs which she worked so hard for and as we headed into the end of the academic year we did so with sunshine on hand which always makes everything feel so much better. Exams, fun with friends, parties, the world cup, trips to London, rugby, cricket, football, swimming, dancing, a mini break away at our lovely Suffolk Yurts, sports days, performances with musicals and school gala! So many lovely things which made me smile!
Florence (End of U5/Year 11)

It’s been hard to catch Florence in her school uniform as she finished for study leave on the 4th of May and has only been back for exams and gala rehearsals, singing lessons and the performance. She’s worked oh so terribly hard though and whatever results she gets, I know she couldn’t have put any more of herself into them. I feel so proud watching her work ethic in all its glory, she’s a wonder. And it helped that her revision was fuelled by sunshine and surfing – as soon as she finished she’s been at the beach, seeing friends, enjoying her prom which she looked incredible in her dress for, and in amongst all of this she began her singing lessons early, as part of the sixth form performing arts scholarship she won. Go Florence, she’s going to smash sixth form!
Jimmy (End of L5/Year 9)

Jimmy continues to somehow charm everyone and get good results even though it definitely seems like he doesn’t even pick up his books, something we are working on! He has also had an excellent last part of the academic year with his rugby club winning a tournament in France (over his birthday weekend and the crowning glory to his celebrations) and he has gone great guns in sport at school too with a 3rd place (against the year above it has to be said) in the 800m at sports day amongst many other things sporting this summer. lots of rugby, and lots of cricket have made him very happy and his performance as Chad in High School Musical made me so proud – what a boy!
Raffie (End of Year 3)

Oh my Raffie! Such a dream boat with the best hugs and the biggest smile! I think year 3 has made him a little happier at school despite some trickiness with a few friends (frien-emies) and his work has been stuff to make a Mummy very proud indeed! He is doing wonderfully at football and dedicates almost all of his spare time to it. Dancing has taken a back seat, although perhaps not for always as he is keen to audition for some theatre work.
Posie (End of reception)

Seems unbelievable that Posie has completed a whole year at school – she os still the baby in our house and always will be but wow, has she grown up! She is bright and kind and always aims to please reminding me so much of her big sister at the same age. She makes us all so happy with her brilliant chats and determination in everything she does. Her art is outstanding her reading, writing and maths is also such a delight to see how hard she works and I feel certain we have another one destined for the stage!
Here are our best bits of the last term!
