Tom and Jerry, remember them? They were one of my faves when I was little and now they’re back!
Saturday mornings on Boomerang (Sky channels 603 and 618 / Virgin Channels 730 and 731) see the two back on our screens with all the same madcap capers I remember when I was little!
Tom and Jerry are back!
They have changed a bit, Tom’s owner is different and I think they are slightly more PC than they used to be but the fun that I (and my Grandpa who watched it with me) used to find hilarious and love! What I really, really like is that the animations look like they did of old and they haven’t been ruined with a massive make-over, sometimes the oldies are best after all!
The children have been watching the new adventures and think they’re brilliant! We’ve also been playing with the new Tom and Jerry game ‘Tom Bomb’ by Giochi Preziosi. It’s age 3+ but Jimmy at two thinks it’s hilarious and can totally play along! Tom sits in a rocket and each player takes turns placing the ignition key in the side until one makes him pop up! We play it that the person who makes him pop is the winner! They’ve both been loving it (as has Daddy), look!
So! We’re more than fond of Tom and Jerry, both the game and the new episodes! Florence and Jimmy have a programme they actually like watching together! Brilliant!
