Tornado Springs At Paultons Park – Coming Soon!

Gosh it’s been years since we visited Paultons Park but I can honestly say we all still say that it’s our favourite theme park of all time ever. EVEN Jonny who hates them has a fondness for Paultons and it’s easy to see why when I look back at our memories from there. Previously when visiting our older two were tiny and massive Peppa pig fans, Paultons is home to Peppa Pig WORLD if you didn’t know so this was always the draw for us back then although we thought the rest of the park was pretty fab too. We noticed that most of the big rides had little ones next to them meaning all ages could enjoy and I have a hilarious video of Florence on the baby log flume somewhere that I will always enjoy.

I think there’s just something for everyone you know. Big, thrill seeking rides as well as the smaller ones, lots of space in well kept and clean grounds, animals, water splash play and an overall feeling of not being one in the thousands. It’s big but I always think of the experience as feeling quite intimate and though we have encountered some lengthy queues in Peppa Pig World, nothing that would make you lose the will to live because of the entertainment all around and in the main Paultons Park I have never found it to feel like we waited for any of the rides for any notable amount of time. It all just felt very easy!

And so this year we are very much looking forward to going again and seeing not only all the things we loved last time but their BRAND NEW Tornado Springs which is opening in May and which we have been very kindly invited to the launch of!

Tornado Springs is an incredible themed world inside Paultons Park which will bring to life a charming 1950’s desert resort town in America’s Midwest. It is set to become Paultons Park’s biggest and best-ever area with eight new rides and attractions set over four acres, including the UK exclusive rollercoaster Storm Chaser, it’s guaranteed to be an unforgettable experience for the whole family and we can’t wait!

We are being kept abreast of the details in the run up to May, when it will open, and I will bring you all the ‘in the know’ secrets as soon as I can! We CANNOT wait! The big kids are now old enough to be excited about the thrill seeking rides but I am also SO excited to take Raffie and show him Peppa Pig World – I think he is going to be BLOWN AWAY – It will be like meeting a rock star for him because that’s what it was like for Florence and Jimmy when they were his age – HOW EXCITING!
