Tomorrow I fly out to Marbella for a friend’s wedding and this past week has seen me struggle to find that perfect outfit! However, I think I’ve done it with a bit of help from my Mum who raced around Norwich trying to find the last pair of shoes in my size because I couldn’t find them in London. I LOVE my new shoes and can’t wait to wear my wedding outfit.
‘Lara shoes’ by ‘Carvela’. £100 (House of Fraser have them in the sale for £59.99). I love them so much I’m going to get them in black too!Gold ‘Gussola’ clutch bag by ‘Call It Spring’ at Debenhams. £32. My Mum’s a peach and picked this up for me as a present!My Multiway Dress is from marks and Spencers (£55). I love it. Very flattering material and it hangs beautifully. It can be worn with the straps and tie in lots of different ways but I prefer it in a Marilyn Monroe or Grecian style.This is a very old, very tarnished and very scratched costume ring from Accessorize but I love wearing it. It’s HUGE and it makes me feel a bit like Alice in Wonderland when I look down at my child sized hands wearing it!I was given these ‘Joules’ sunglasses at the launch party for the ‘Joules’ glasses range at ‘Vision Express’. I usually wear cheap Jackie O style ones from Primark because I break them so often. These are much smaller than my usual wont but I really love the way they look on and as the wedding is in Marbella I ought to have some special ones on!My friend Katy gave me this charm bracelet and because I’m not wearing a necklace I wanted something really jangly like this on my wrist. It was from Debenhams.
So, that’s my outfit and this is how I look in it. It was late last night, I was a bit wine fuddled and I dragged my Mum (she’s arrived to take charge while we’re away) outside to picture me in it dancing around like a loon. What WILL my neighbours think of me?! Forgive my lack of make-up and hair styling. I will do much better on the wedding day!
Not sure if I’ll wear it in this Grecian style or if I’ll have it more like a Marilyn Monroe dress?
