What To Do In Brighton?!

Say Brighton and automatically the beach springs to mind but there’s so much more to Brighton and Hove than the pebbles. Shop small perusing the famous Brighton Lanes, take a ride on the Brighton Wheel of Excellence or have a picnic in the gardens surrounding the Royal Pavilion and Brighton Museum and Art Gallery and you’re a world away from the beach yet still with that soothing salty air kissing you good morning. Wander into town and you could pick one of hundreds of amazing places to eat or bars to enjoy a cocktail (there’s something for every taste and lots of scrummy food places for vegan and healthy living fodder as well as the naughty stops too) and you’ll feel as if you’re in another country entirely with that notably only in Brighton atmosphere or alternatively you can just laze about on a Sunday morning reading the papers while enjoying a good coffee! Brighton can be anything to anyone with its inclusive attitude to life and it’s the perfect place for a little holiday in the UK! If you’re planning a holiday in Brighton then check out the Best of Brighton Holiday Lettings.

Royal Crescent is right by the sea and sleeps 4 people. With just a 15 minute walk along the gorgeous promenade to the shops and you’ll find yourself staying in the perfect location for beach days, lanes shopping and dining out at the eclectic eateries!

If cocktails are your thing and you’re having a weekend away for grown ups then I can highly recommend the Twisted Lemon in the centre of town. My friend Lucy gave me the heads up about this place and I’ve heard it mentioned by more than one person since so she wasn’t wrong! It’s rather bijou so no big parties but it’s JUST the place for a tipple of something special for date night sans kids

A bloody Mary might take the edge off a morning after the night before at the Twisted Lemon, Brighton!

However, if the family scene is what you’re after then of course there’s much to do in Brighton with little people. The Sea Life Centre, Brighton is GREAT for getting out of a cold blustery day and stepping into some colour but if the sun’s even vaguely out then it HAS to be the beach, ice-creams and Bright’s famous kiss me quick pier all the way!

While in this part of the world do take time to have a wander around and check out the street art which decorates the beach-side town from top to bottom. Kids will love finding new pieces as much as the grown ups and won’t even know they’re on a healthy stroll. Go on a hunt with a guide (you can see a top ten places for Brighton street art here) or simply walk around and fnid your favourites. Brighton is fun, exciting and calm and relaxing all in one. The Bright in the ton is VERY and you’ll have a fabulous time whatever you do. Now you just have to choose your cottage and make the date set for your diary of mini breaks!

Brighton ROCKS!
